New Gloucester Food Pantry
For New Gloucester Residents in need of food assistance
The Food Pantry is open on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 8:00am-9:30am. We have a simple sign-in process and everyone receives a box of pantry staples including frozen meat, and choices of fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, and bakery items. We also have a book shelf with free books for all ages.
The pantry is located at the back of the First Congregational-Christian Church (19 Gloucester Hill Rd.)
Ways to support the New Gloucester Food Pantry
- Volunteer to help with food distribution on Saturday morning, or set-up on Friday morning. Call the church office (207-926-3260) for more information or to sign up to help.
- We accept donations of new, unopened, unexpired pantry staples. We can always use crackers, cereal, baked beans, canned soup, jelly, and snack foods like granola/cereal bars.
- We also welcome monetary donations. You can send a check payable to First Congregational-Christian Church (indicate Food Pantry in the memo) to:
Treasurer First Congregational-Christian Church P.O. Box 114 New Gloucester, ME 04260
